Description
CLASSIC® Indwelling is a clinician-placed, non-sterile tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis designed to restore speech following total laryngectomy. Engineered for long-term indwelling use, it provides reliable one-way valve function that allows pulmonary air to enter the oesophagus for voice production while helping to prevent the passage of food and liquids into the trachea.
Furthermore, the prosthesis utilises the proven Blom-Singer® Gel Cap Insertion Method, which enables smooth, atraumatic placement during secondary or replacement tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP) procedures. Manufactured from soft, biocompatible medical-grade silicone, it delivers dependable performance, patient comfort, and consistent voice quality throughout the life of the prosthesis.
