Mednom was founded by John Mantell over 26 years ago.

Over the last nearly three decades, Mednom built up an impressive portfolio of state of the art medical instruments and supplies. In addition, the company has proven their ability to design and produce more than a handful of products in-house with great commercial success. Naturally their success caught the attention of keen investors and as a result, Mednom was largely bought over by the now new shareholders. The group is focused on combining their respective strengths in business, design and medical procedure to swiftly expand the company’s current footprint. With a historical strong presence in the Western Cape, Mednom is expanding its distribution network to include KZN, Gauteng and the Eastern Cape. Various loyal International customers from China, Mauritius and across Africa complete the picture.

All operations and dispatching of orders are managed from our offices in Kenridge, Cape Town and is manned by our competent team of staff.
