Description
Endobronchial Tubes are specialised airway management devices designed to facilitate one-lung ventilation during thoracic, pulmonary, oesophageal, and select cardiac surgical procedures. It enables independent ventilation of either the left or right lung, allowing the opposite lung to be isolated and collapsed, thus providing the surgeon with an unobstructed operative field while maintaining adequate oxygenation and ventilation.
Endobronchial Tubes are manufactured from soft, medical-grade, kink-resistant material, the tube features high-volume, low-pressure cuffs to create an effective seal while minimising the risk of airway trauma. The clear depth markings, radiopaque lines for imaging confirmation, and colour-coded connectors assist with accurate placement and ease of use. The Tube is designed for compatibility with fibreoptic bronchoscopy, enabling precise positioning and verification throughout the procedure.
