Description
ADVANTAGE HARD VALVE LARGE ESOPHAGEAL FLANGE (LEF) Indwelling Voice Prostheses 22.5Fr (Sterile) is embedded with silver oxide as a material preservative. The kit includes non-sterile voice prosthesis for secondary or replacement TEP procedures, as well as insertion/cleaning accessories.
The Blom-Singer® Advantage Hard Valve LEF Indwelling Features:
- Titanium Ring designed to provide radio-opacity.
- Silver Oxide designed to reduce biofilm growth.
- Larger Esophageal Flange (LEF) to help manage potential leakage around the voice prosthesis
- Increased Valve Resistance designed to troubleshoot unintentional valve opening.
- Blom-Singer® Gel Cap Insertion Method designed for voice prosthesis placement.
Accessories Include:
- Flushing Device for routine cleaning of voice prosthesis.
- Brush For routine cleaning of indwelling voice prosthesis.
- Plug Insert for temporary management of central leakage through voice prosthesis (≥6mm).
NOTE: The Silver Oxide, a known antimicrobial substance, is incorporated into the silicone flap valve of the Blom-Singer Advantage and Dual Valve Indwelling Voice Prostheses as a material preservative, ensuring a longer life-span for the prostheses.
