CLASSIC® Indwelling is a clinician-placed tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis designed to restore speech following total laryngectomy. Its reliable one-way valve allows pulmonary air to pass into the oesophagus for clear, natural voice production while helping to prevent food and liquids from entering the trachea during swallowing. Consequently, patients benefit from dependable voice rehabilitation and improved swallowing confidence. CLASSIC® Indwelling is the considered the “baseline” for voice prostheses and is the equivalent option to the Provox 2.

Furthermore, the prosthesis features the Blom-Singer® Gel Cap Insertion Method, which enables smooth, atraumatic insertion during primary, secondary, or replacement tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP) procedures. Manufactured from soft, biocompatible medical-grade silicone, it provides long-term comfort, consistent valve performance, and reliable durability. Supplied sterile and ready for use, the prosthesis supports efficient clinical placement while maintaining high standards of patient care.
