Description
Adjustable Bi-Flanged Prosthesis is a sterile, clinician-placed silicone prosthesis designed to manage persistent tracheoesophageal or pharyngocutaneous fistulas following laryngectomy or other head and neck surgical procedures. The prosthesis features adjustable tracheal and oesophageal flanges that provide secure retention while helping to seal the fistula and minimise leakage of saliva and other fluids.
Furthermore, the adjustable design allows clinicians to customise the prosthesis to the patient’s individual anatomy, thereby promoting a comfortable fit and effective fistula management. Manufactured from soft, biocompatible medical-grade silicone, the prosthesis offers flexibility, durability, and patient comfort while supporting tissue healing and reducing the risk of aspiration.
