Day&Night® ClassicFlow® HME is a single-use heat and moisture exchanger (HME) designed for individuals who have undergone a total laryngectomy. It helps restore the natural functions of the upper airway by warming, filtering, and humidifying inspired air, thereby supporting pulmonary rehabilitation and improving respiratory comfort throughout the day and night.
The ClassicFlow® filter is designed to provide enhanced moisture retention while delivering balanced airflow resistance. As a result, it effectively conditions inspired air to help reduce coughing, excessive mucus production, and airway irritation associated with breathing through a tracheostoma. Furthermore, the Day&Night HME attaches securely to Blom-Singer® Adhesive Housings and StomaSoft® Laryngectomy Tubes, providing a comfortable, reliable solution for continuous respiratory care.
