Description
CLASSIC® Increased Resistance is a sterile, clinician-placed tracheoesophageal voice prosthesis designed to restore speech following total laryngectomy. Specifically developed for patients who experience intermittent valve opening due to fluctuations in oesophageal pressure, the Increased Resistance (IR) valve helps minimise unwanted air ingestion and leakage through the prosthesis. As a result, patients benefit from more consistent valve function and reliable voice production.
