Description
The BLOM-SINGER® Septal Perforation Prosthesis uses a magnetic, non-surgical design to occlude nasal septal perforations and help relieve associated symptoms. Two components, each with a double flange, connect across the septal defect using securely encapsulated neodymium magnets.
Precisely moulded medical-grade silicone creates a comfortable interface with the nasal septum, while matching flange shapes and diameters help minimise movement and maintain a stable fit. The oval configuration accommodates septal perforations with an oval anatomical profile, allowing clinicians to select the appropriate prosthesis according to the size and shape of the defect.
