Description
BLOM-SINGER® Insufflation Test Set is a clinician-use assessment device designed to evaluate a patient’s suitability for tracheoesophageal voice restoration following total laryngectomy. Before creating a tracheoesophageal puncture (TEP), clinicians can use the test set to insufflate air into the oesophagus and assess the patient’s ability to produce tracheoesophageal voice.
Furthermore, the test helps clinicians evaluate voice quality, determine candidacy for voice prosthesis placement, and support informed treatment planning. By providing valuable preoperative information, the BLOM-SINGER® Insufflation Test Set assists clinicians in selecting appropriate candidates for successful tracheoesophageal voice rehabilitation.
