    SHEEHY COLLAR BUTTON is indicated for chronic otitis media with effusion, persistent Eustachian tube dysfunction, recurrent otitis media, and other conditions requiring prolonged middle ear ventilation with enhanced tympanic membrane retention.

    NOTE: The SHEEHY COLLAR BUTTON tube is recognised for its long-term retention characteristics, making it a suitable option for patients at higher risk of premature tube extrusion or those requiring extended ventilation compared with standard grommet tubes. This differentiates it clinically from short-term designs such as the Shepard, Donaldson, and Armstrong grommets.
