Description
The first prep-resistant ink skin marker to virtually eliminate the need for remarking of the patient even after prepping with aggressive skin antiseptic preparations (e.g. alcohol- or chlorhexidine-based scrubs such as CHG/ChloraPrep). Its use supports accurate surgical-site marking per standard protocols (e.g. to prevent wrong-site surgery).
Successful in millions of clinical trials, markings reportedly remain visible up to ten times longer than traditional skin-marker inks This reduces the risk that markings will rub off before or during surgery, thereby minimizing the need for remarking and reducing potential for wrong-site errors.
