Ophthalmic Sponge Packing Eye Spears are made from soft, lint-free, high-absorbency PVA sponge. These Sponge Packings expand after coming in contact with fluid, allowing rapid wicking, and minimising tissue ingrowth.
They are designed for atraumatic fluid management around delicate ocular tissues. Eye Spears are intended to absorb excess fluids, apply medication, or maintain a clear surgical field during ophthalmic or cosmetic surgeries.
